September & October Sideshow Recaps

It's been a fun and busy past couple of Sideshow Goshkos. In September, my mom came to visit! And coincidentally, made her NY performance debut on Sideshow Goshko.

Just a little happy to share the limelight with my mom

This month's Sideshow Goshko was packed to the gills with talent and an extra special "guest" (I can't say much more, but I can say that October's Sideshow Goshko was recorded by a nationally recognized radio show. So stay tuned!).

Also, my HUGE thanks to everyone who continues to come out and support the show. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Sideshow Goshko audiences are the best! And come this January, we'll be celebrating 6 years of Sideshow Goshko storytelling! (what?!) More details to come for our blowout anniversary show.

In other news, there will be no Sideshow Goshko for the month of November. But I will be hosting the Time Out New York "Critics' Pick" poetry/reading series "Kick Assonance." So mark your calendars for Saturday, November 22nd, 7pm at KGB Bar.

Thanks as always to Maryanne Ventrice for her amazing photography skills. Be sure to check out her work HERE.

September's Sideshow Goshko: Mom Comes to Visit!

host Leslie Goshko
Your evening's storytellers: (L to R) Leslie Goshko, Caitlin Brodnick, Brad Lawrence, Rory Scholl
There's two sides to every story. Me and mom talking about the summer we had a Russian orphan live with us.

The hilarious Rory Scholl relating how he implemented a nursing home gambling ring
Don't mess with Brad Lawrence OR his lunch box!
Glamour writer and host of "Shut Up" storytelling, Caitlin Brodnick, recounting some dating memories

October's Sideshow Goshko Storytelling Series:

No, not models. Just storytellers. But we get that a lot.
Cyndi Freeman channeling her inner Wonder Woman
Tommy Pryor, fresh off the heels of his book release of "I Hate the Dallas Cowboys." Seriously, go buy this book!

The affable Steven Berkowitz sharing about a very "statistical" situation.
The fantastic Tara Clancy relating a softball story you soon won't forget.
Yours truly throwing her hat in the ring with a tale about picnics and cults. They go together like PB & J.
We're a rowdy bunch!
