Mark your calendars for March 15th, 6pm at Cornelia Street Cafe. We'll have music and booze; two of my favorite things.
Hope to see you there! Now I'm off to practice.

I'm Happy In Washington Square Park!
Oh my gosh, this was so much fun to do. Geoffrey Stevens is the creator of "Happy In NYC." What is "Happy In NYC"? I'm so glad you asked:
Inspired by Pharrell's and We Are L.A.'s video for Happy and their 24 Hours of Happy project, I'm shooting various New Yorkers all over the city in places that make them happy.
We got to shoot in Washington Square Park on Valentine's Day where I was very happy and kissed a random dude. This was four minutes of pure dancing fun.
Thanks to Geoffrey for letting me be a part of his series and be sure to check out the rest of his videos. They're like potato chips; you can't watch just one.

Moonwork 2014
Moonwork is an amazing evening of original works that's now entering its 20th year. If you haven't had a chance to attend, I highly recommend it. The evening and its performers are documented by the much-loved (both personally and by the comedy world), Mindy Tucker.
I've talked before about how wonderful and talented Mindy is, and I'm so honored to have been photographed by her on several occasions.
Big thanks to Mindy for this latest photo taken at the latest edition of Moonwork at The Clemente Soto Velez Cultural and Education Center in NYC.

5 Years of Sideshow and a New York Times "Critics' Pick"
What can I say? January's 5 year anniversary show was the perfect way to start off 2014. The New York Times named us a "Critics' Pick" (thank you, NY Times!), Time Out New York gave us a lovely feature in their Comedy section (thank you, TONY!), we had a lineup of some of my personal, all-time favorite storytellers, and our audience (which is the BEST!) packed out the KGB Bar to the point where it was spilling out the door.
I'm so overwhelmed in the best possible way by all the support and love and kind words we've received--not only for our anniversary--but over the years. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of making this series everything it's become. You are in my heart and I am so grateful and honored.
And a big thank you to Maryanne Ventrice for capturing the evening along with all the other Sideshows that have taken place over the years. If you haven't had to chance yet, you should check out her amazing work HERE.
And now, a recap...

Closing Out 2013 In Style
Yikes! I'm a little bit behind with posting these, but as they say, "Better late than never.*" December's Sideshow Goshko was a blast! Thanks to our gentlemen storytellers who helped us close out the year in style and to everyone who came out and packed the KGB Bar! You made it a great 2013.
